Lawrence Frank: New Coach Of Detroit Pistons

No formal offer has been made yet, but reports say that Lawrence Frank is the Detroit Pistons’ choice for their next head coach. Lawrence Frank last coached with the New Jersey Nets in 2009, finishing his six year stint there by starting off that season 0-16.

Frank will be replacing John Kuester who led the the Pistons to a rough 30-52 record this past season. A formal offer is expected to be made to Frank in the next day or two.


One Shot: Brian Kortovich Wants An NBA Team To Take A Chance

NBA hopeful Brian Kortovich just wants an NBA team to take a real chance on him. Since graduating from Urbana University in 2006, after being injured during his short stint at Manhattan College, he’s been on a journey to make a NBA team any way possible.

A 6’0″ guard, the Ohio native spent 2009 and 2010 in pre-season workouts with the Nets and Knicks, but is still yet to make an NBA roster for the regular season or summer league play.
