Lyriciss is one of several dope spitters emerging on the hip hop scene out of the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia area), and he is holding his own among the pack. He’s gearing up to drop his album The Balance, recently showed his skills at the A3C hip hop festival in Atlanta, and he took the time out to talk to me about everything from music and video games, to the moment that’s had the biggest impact on his life.

“Write Brothers”: Pro’verb Feat. Lyriciss

Pro’verb’s While You Waiting… mixtape is dropping September 2 and here’s something hot off of it. The project will feature RatheMC, Lyriciss, yU of Diamond District and more. Below I’ll let the feature, Lyriciss, explain this track.

Pro’Verb teams up with his lyrical brother, aptly named Lyriciss, to form the duo The Write Brothers and present the track of the same name! Produced by Mark Henry (Fat Joe’s “Drop A Body”, Wale’s “The MC”), the hard hitting “Write Brothers” will have you snapping your neck and pressing rewind to bask in the duo’s rhymes over and over.
