So the homie Lyriciss is presenting his LP The Balance in a little bit of an unconventional way, by releasing it in the form of a few EPs. The first one The Balance: Respect dropped earlier over a DJBooth.net. Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor is not such a gimme, but that might only be because it just came out in 2006, making it too recent in our minds to warrant that type of consideration. But is Lupe’s Food & Liquor really a “new classic”? Is it better than Illmatic??
